Easter Buffet at Southeast Culinary and Hospitality College

Please join the culinary school for their Easter Buffet. This dining experience will be prepared by Chef Richard, Chef Jassen and Chef Norman along with the Culinary Arts Students. Reservations are highly recommended as seating is limited. The Easter Buffet will be held from 11 am to 2 pm on Easter Sunday and will include gourmet salad bar, omelet station, carved roast beef and baked ham, honey pecan chicken, vegetables and breads, a dessert buffet, tea and coffee. Adults are $16.95 and children 5-12 years old are $6.95 plus tax. For more information please call (276) 591-5699.
Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bonnet Parade in Cumberland Square Park

The annual city-wide Easter Egg Hunt is slated for Saturday, April 7 at Cumberland Square Park starting at 9:30 am. Bristol Parks and Recreation Department along with the Easter Bunny invites all children ages 2-9 to bring a basket and come out in search for eggs and valuable prizes hidden within the park. Believe in Bristol will also be sponsoring an Easter Bonnet Parade with prizes given for top prizes given for the top creations worn in the parade. Other festivities include Easter arcade games and numerous Department and Organization mascots.
BCMA/BRRR Blood Drive in Historic Downtown Bristol

The Birthplace of Country Music Alliance and Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is rolling up their sleeves-and hoping you will, too!-for Marsh Regional Blood Center. The Blood Mobile will be parked at 416 State Street, Bristol, TN on Friday, April 6th, 2012 from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Beaver Creek Storytellers to perform at 606 State Street Gallery

606 State Street Gallery presents:The Beaver Creek Storytellers with music by The Java J Jammers. Thursday, April 5, 2012, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., 606 State Street, Bristol TN-VA Admission: $5.00, Refreshments at intermission. The Beaver Creek Storytellers is a non-profit association of storytelling enthusiasts formed in 1997 to support the art of story.

The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development informs that the Birthplace of Country Music Cultural Heritage Center has been recommended for a $500,000 grant from Virginia's Appalachian Regional Commission program.
