Celebration of Dance
March 06, 2011Come and enjoy an afternoon of different dance styles from area dance companies and dancers. Bristol Ballet will be performing to the Overture from “Girl Crazy” by Gershwin, a Celtic piece, and excerpts and from “Paqutia” with special guest dancer Fernando Moraga. Introduction to Pocket Digital Camera Workshop
March 05, 2011A mini-workshop hosted by award-winning photojournalist Sam Bass will take digitally challenged photographers from awkward snap shots to creative images through an easy step-by-step proceedure. The workshop is designed for phtographers at all levels who want to develop a better understanding of creative image making with small digital cameras.

bELIevers' Music Benfit at Machiavelli's
March 03, 2011Thursday, Friday and Saturday slip on your dancing shoes for a good cause! Machiavelli's and bELIevers are hosting a 3 night Music Benefit sponsored by White Ridge Carry Out and Blowfish Emporium. All proceeds will go to bELIevers and Bridgett Hart's donation to Relay for Life of Wise County, Virginia benefitting the American Cancer Society.

March 02, 2011Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is proud to announce that we have taken home the Bronze Kaleidoscope Award for Best Festival from the Southeast Festivals & Events Association. The best and brightest were spotlighted during a ceremony hosted at the Stone Mountain Inn in Stone Mountain, Georgia last week. Top festivals and events throughout the southeast were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the events industry.

Bristol Public Library Announces the 2011 Discovery Series Schedule
March 02, 2011The Bristol Public Library is pleased to announce the 2011 Discovery Series Schedule. The past three years have been very successful for the Discovery Series. The Discovery Series committee was formed two years ago to ensure that we bring only the best and most sought after speakers, authors, and workshops. We are very pleased by the final decisions made to the line-up and anticipate outstanding attendance to these events. It is our hope that we will continue to magnify Albert C. Noble’s Mission by Expanding Minds and Building Community at your Bristol Public Library.
