Happy New Year 2011!

On behalf of the Believe in Bristol Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers please have a wonderful and safe New Years 2011!
As you know, your Main Street program is very important to the continued revitalization efforts of Historic Downtown Bristol. With our focus steadfast on strengthening local businesses, enhancing the livability of downtown and promoting our cultural assets, we have made great strides in 2009-2010.
Believe in Bristol is looking forward to an exciting 2011 with your support. Some exciting new projects you should be on the look-out for include: advocacy of the 3/50 Project, a national “shop local” campaign; a scavenger hunt built around the 10 principles of what makes a livable community and new website additions highlighting Downtown Bristol as our arts and entertainment hub.
We truly appreciate your support in helping our downtown continue to be an exciting place to live, work, shop and play!
If you would like to financially contribute to our mission please make a donation on our secure PayPal account here http://www.believeinbristol.org/support.php,your gift to Believe in Bristol is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Theatre Bristol creating a Singing Telegram Troupe
Theatre Bristol is excited to announce that we will be holding open auditions for a singing telegram troupe. Auditions will be held at 6 p.m. on January 7th and again at 3 p.m. on January 8th. We ask that you come prepared to sing The National Anthem as well as your choice of "I'm a little teapot," "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," or "Happy Birthday." The National Anthem will define your vocal range for us while the other songs will allow us to see the energy and personality you can add to well known songs. The songs will be sung a cappella.
