Birthplace of Country Music House Concert at Theatre Bristol: Hillman & Pedersen

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Chris Hillman is considered a pioneer of the country-rock sound and is best known for his work in seminal 1960s folk rock bands The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers. Banjoist and guitarist Herb Pedersen is a well respected studio and musician-for-hire having recorded and toured with a who's who of mega stars from Flatt & Scruggs to Jerry Garcia to Emmylou Harris to Vince Gill. Hillman and Pedersen came together in the 80s to form The Desert Rose Band, earning three Academy of Country Music Awards and a number of Grammy nominations.
One can only imagine the stories this duo has to tell, and you'll get to hear some of them during an intimate live performance brought to you by Birthplace of Country Music® on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 6:30pm at Theatre Bristol during 'An Evening with Hillman & Pedersen'.
