The Featured Student Artist for February at 606 State Street Gallery is Kandee Wallace, and the Featured Artist is Judy O'Hara. Come check out their work for the month of February!

Kandee Wallace Bio

Kandee is an 18-year-old Junior Art Major at UVA Wise.She works in many different mediums, including painting (acrylic and watercolor), drawing (pen and ink, charcoal, and pencil), photography, mixed media, and other various crafts and art forms. The purpose of her work is usually to capture beautiful color and sharp contrast along with capturing everyday life in its full beauty. Art has been her passion since the age of three andwith no art in her elementary school and a poorly-funded program in high school, she has taught herself everything she knows. It is her purpose to strive to get better and learn different techniques and forms of art and to pursue an art career after graduation.

Judy O'Hara Bio
Judy O'Hara is from Jonesborough, TN and painting is her passion. Working in acrylic, oil, watercolor, and colored pencil, she finds inspiration from God's wonderful creation all around her. She loves to paint animals, still life, landscapes, and seascapes. O'Hara has painted for various charities and teaches classes in Jonesborough, Johnson City, and Greeneville.
