James Meadows is a country singer/songwriter and Nashville Recording Artist who currently resides in Abingdon, VA. He originally grew up an hours drive north of Abingdon deep in the Appalachian Mountains near Grundy, Virginia. While in college he was involved with the ETSU Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music program where he played in many bands featuring top notch talent from all over the world. He also played in many different band combinations performing both bluegrass and country music around the East Tennessee area at this time. He decided to go solo and also began songwriting in early 2005. He has written numerous songs since that time. Two of his originals are featured on his new album.
