"Paper Windows: A Photographic Vision of Bristol"
April 24 – June 21, 2012
"Paper Windows: A Photographic Vision of Bristol" is a year-long community contest with a call for entries in 12 different themes. The goal is to collect photos of the people of Bristol and the downtown area, as well as nature and wildlife scenes showcasing the community.
The first session, "Spring: Nature's Green Light," ended April 21. The next theme, "Bristol's Hometown Heroes," ends May 21, followed May 22-June 21 by "Bristol: Painted Green" (pictures must feature the color green).
Each session's winners will be featured in a city calendar, and the top three images for each theme will be displayed in an exhibit.
Professionals and amateurs of all ages are encouraged to enter. Photographers may use any type of camera, including Smartphones. Entries will only be accepted in digital format and must be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by the last day of each session. Judging will be conducted by four professional photographers. The fifth vote will be cast by visitors to the city's Facebook page.
Rules, entry and release forms are available online (www.bristoltn.org).
