April 16, 2011 | 12 am

Lowcountry author, Dorothea Benton Frank will be at the Bristol Public Library, Saturday, April 16th at 1:30 p.m. in the J. Henry Kegley Meeting Room.
Dorothea Benton Frank is a native of the South whose novels vividly capture the wild beauty, laid-back atmosphere, earthy characters, and charming life in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. Written with compelling honesty and emotional depth, her stories have touched readers from coast to coast.

Dorothea Benton Frank first began to enchant and delight readers with her tales of life in Lowcountry South Carolina with the publication of her first book, Sullivan’s Island, in 1999- which now has over a million copies in print. With the sequel, Return to Sullivan’s Island, ten years and ten New York Times Bestselling novels later, Frank has fans reading the story of the next generation of characters, and their beloved home on Sullivan’s Island.
