TIMELESS ...A tribute to the Paramount Center for the Arts and an evening of great entertainment.
Imagine a gathering of professional musicians, vocalists, artists and dancers from the area & guest from NYC ...all on stage at our own beautiful Paramount Center. This special event happens on Saturday March 13 at 7:00 PM.
Why a benefit for the Paramount? Just think of all the wonderful shows that we all have been able to enjoy through the years. Then imagine what it would be like for downtown Bristol without this beautiful old theater. We have had the Paramount throughout its opening in 1938, we enjoy the shows today ...but what about tomorrow, and all the other tomorrows. Cultural icons such as the Paramount suffer greatly for lack of funding, and we can all help. How …? Just simply be an audience participant ...and attend the shows that are produced ...that is all we have to do, be in the audience and be entertained. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow...the Paramount has truly remained a Timeless Icon bringing to many people, through the years, precious memories of Yesterday, anticipation for Today and promise for Tomorrow.
Headed up by the Highlands Ballet, this musical journey has something for everyone, Rhythm & Blues, Bluegrass, Americana, Original Works and Much More! This is sure be a spectacular evening, packed full of “good old time” entertainment, and a “real good time” for everyone!
Join Dave Vaught as emcee, the VW Boys along with Dave weave their musical magic, the Highlands Ballet, Sean Hilton from NYC, Songwriter/composer Annie Robinette, Lindsey Blackwell, Claiborne Woodall, and special guest performers ...all for your enjoyment and a heartfelt “Thank You” to the Paramount Center.
All proceeds will be donated to the Paramount Center in appreciation for its Timeless support for the arts, both performing and visual. Tickets include a reception after the show ... join the performers and the artists in the lobby for refreshments.
