Second Sunday Concert Series: Haywood County Ramblers
The Birthplace of Country Music and William King Museum of Art present the Haywood County Ramblers Sunday, April 12 at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum.
About Haywood County Ramblers
The Haywood County Ramblers are part of the next generation of traditional mountain musicians, dedicated to honoring the old tunes and songs of the southern Appalachian Mountains. Each performance is a combination of fiddle tunes, Baptist spirituals, banjo tunes, square dance hoedowns, traditional ballads, and Carter Family songs.
About the Concert Series
Every second Sunday, March through August in 2015, music brings two of the region's premier museums together for one amazing concert series. The Second Sunday Concert Series, presented by William King Museum of Art and the Birthplace of Country Music, will feature a fantastic afternoon of great music in two of the region's most celebrated museums.
Beginning in March, the Second Sunday Concert Series will alternate locations between William King Museum of Art in Abingdon, Virginia and Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol, Virginia.
Admission to each concert is $15 with the opportunity to purchase packages of three (3) concerts or the entire series at a discount. Cash bar and light hors d'oeuvres will be served, two (2) drink tickets included per concert ticket. Must be 21 and over with valid photo I.D. to consume alcohol at the event.
