Downtown Art Class by Alexis Snyder
$60 registration fee + $25 supply fee (both due at door)
Ages 14 and up

Block printing is a great method for creating handmade, reproducible fine art prints as well as personalized greeting cards and similar items. In this class, students will make a linoleum block print and will learn about other traditional methods of printmaking, such as woodcut, monotype, etching, engraving, and lithograph. This is a beginner class; previous drawing experience is helpful but not necessary. (Those who are not confident in their drawing abilities can use transfer paper for tracing images or can create designs with stencils, stamps, etc.)

Register by November 9, 2015 by phone or email. Maximum class size is 8 students. Minimum class size is 2 students.

Students who wish to bring their own supplies must notify the gallery/instructor when registering so they are not charged for these supplies. Supply fee is $25.
