Poverty Simulation and Facilitator Training
April 7–8, 2016
YWCA | MAP
Poverty simulations are an experiential learning tool that helps to educate community members about the barriers faced by families living in poverty. Family Promise of Bristol, through the work of a task force on Poverty Education and Awareness, offers the Simulation to the community on a regular basis. This year, 2016, training for facilitators of the Simulation will be held. If you want to become a facilitator so that you can lead a Simulation event for your community or organization, please register for the training.
Do you want to understand how your neighbors in poverty live each day? Join us for a Poverty Simulation and learn the day-to-day struggles families face in meeting just their basic needs.
