Fake links, phishing, viruses, and scams. They make the Web a very scary place, but you can still protect yourself and your privacy.

Join Bristol Public Library for a free workshop on computer safety and security. Learn how to avoid phishing scams, identify fake links, ensure your privacy while using open WiFi, and create strong passwords to protect sensitive accounts. Other topics included will help beginners and long-time users alike.

The first class will be held at the Bristol Public Library at 5:30 p.m. on January 29. A second class will be held on February 1 at the Avoca Branch Library at the same time.
