COMING HOME tells the story of hope and divine calling, chronicling the personal accounts of the Caleb family, the harsh realities of the slum conditions in India and the hope that was born from a journey of simplicity and empathy. It is the product of 60 hours of footage, a dedicated production team, and an original musical score, and is based off the Caleb Saga books.

Rev. A.S.K Caleb (1934-2002) was born into a Brahmin family but was disowned at the age of 15 for becoming a Christian. He went to live among the poorest of the poor and later became known as “Radio Uncle”, a live radio broadcast for children at the Far East Broadcasting Association in India. In the summer of 2006, his son Jeremiah made a 40-day pilgrimage to India to trace his father’s life. During this journey, he was shaken by the poverty he saw which eventually led to the founding of the Caleb Hope Foundation which empowers destitute children in India through education.

MISSION: The Caleb Hope Foundation serves to work with the poor and the oppressed in the slums and rural communities of India empowering them in creating a culture of education, justice, mercy and hope.
