Classic Movie Corner: The King and I
Anna Leonowens (Deborah Kerr), a widowed schoolteacher, travels to Bangkok with her son, Louis, to become a tutor to the children of King Mongkut (Yul Brynner). Anna quickly becomes caught up in the chaos and drama of the royal household, clashing often with the king of Siam—and, much to her surprise, falling in love with him. But more is at work within Siam than Anna knows and her life will be forever changed by her experiences.
