The State Street Project: Health Across the Borders event at the Foundation Event Facility

There will be a State Street Project: Health Across Borders event on Thursday, June 12 from 9:30 AM through lunchtime at the Foundation Event Facility located at 620 State Street in downtown Bristol. The schedule is as follows:
* 9:30 AM — Registration and Continental Breakfast
* 9:45 AM — Conference Program
* 12 noon — Complimentary Lunch.

The project is a joint venture between the Tennessee Institute of Public Health (TNIPH) and Healthy Appalachia Institute (HAI) and is made possible through the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program with funding from the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The event will feature both Dr. John Dreyzehner, Tennessee Health Commissioner, and Dr. Marissa Levine, Virginia Health Commissioner, and include presentations by Dr. Randy Wykoff from East Tennessee State University and Kate Konkle from the UWPHI County Health Rankings & Roadmaps team. This event’s target audience includes Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia community leaders from city and county governments, chambers, economic developers, health councils, faith-based organizations, businesses and industries, schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, health departments, advocacy groups, civic organizations, and others.
