Final Border Bash of 2012 to host Onward, Soldiers and Uncle Lucius

August 13, 2012

Set in Historic Downtown Bristol, Border Bash continues on Friday August 17, 2012 in the 500 & 400 blocks of State Street. The evening’s events will start with children’s activities, crafters, and concessions at 6PM. Live music begins at 7:00PM with Onward, Soldiers followed up by Uncle Lucius around 8:30PM. As always, Border Bash is free to the public!

Onward, Soldiers
North Carolina's Onward, Soldiers are the product of fortunate coincidence. Sean Thomas Gerard relocated to Carolina's coast, haphazardly landing his self-recorded demo in the hands of drummer, and co-founder of Winoca Records, Kevin Rhodes. They teamed up with several local musicians, lead guitarist, Lincoln Morris and bassist, Jarett Dorman, to release their first album “Ghost In This Town”. Critically celebrated, Ghost In This Town is a compelling blend of unadulterated rock and haunting prose. http://onwardsoldiers.net/ wn”, 2010.

Uncle Lucius
Uncle Lucius takes Rock and Roll from its deep roots and pushes it onward, putting their own honest interpretation on the essential elements of R & B, Blues, and Country. They pride their live show as a sacred and energetic experience, with a belief that this is still the truest form of communication with their fans. All four members grew up in different parts of Texas, each finding their own way to Austin in an attempt to pursue music full-time. http://uncleluciusmusic.com/
