Downtown Bristol’s Winter Wonderland introduces New Community Tradition

November 10, 2022

Believe in Bristol invites Bristol organizations, businesses, and members of the community to be included in a new tradition in downtown Bristol and be part of the new Christmas Tree Village, in coordination with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

The Winter Wonderland Christmas celebration will take place November 28 — January 2, in Cumberland Square and the Downtown Center. The downtown district will be decorated to create a magical Christmas experience for residents and visitors to our region.

Presented by Believe in Bristol, in partnership with the Cities of Bristol, the event will feature 20+ holiday trees, each decorated by a local business, individual, or non-profit organization. All of the trees, along with the Norwegian Spruce and Douglas Fir community Christmas trees, will be lit simultaneously during the Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Monday, November 28th.

Each entry will be provided with a 5’-7’ anchored live tree, with lights already strung and a sign noting the group name. Ornaments and decor are the responsibility of participants. Spectators will have the chance to vote on their favorite tree and a prize for People’s Choice will be presented later in the season.
