How did The Bristol Tattoo Company come about?
After moving to Bristol, I decided to leave the shop I worked at in Johnson City. My family and I had to figure out what the next step was. I traveled for a bit, tattooing at friends' shops and at conventions, while figuring out what I was going to do to provide for my family. I knew exactly what I was looking for in a shop, but I couldn't find it. So I thought: Why not create it? Opening The Bristol Tattoo Company was the biggest risk we have ever taken, but we couldn't be happier with the path we're on.

Are you a Bristol native? If not, what brought you to Bristol?
I consider myself a Mobile, Alabama native. My father was in the Coast Guard, so we lived all over, but Mobile was where I did most of my growing up. I met my wife, Lisa, while living in Florida. We were looking for a change, so we moved to Johnson City, TN from Port Charlotte, FL. While looking for a home to buy, our Realtor suggested we check into Bristol. We found a wonderful house for our family here and decided this was the place we wanted to call “home” for many years to come.

Tell us about your family! Kids? Dogs? Cats?
My wife and I have two spunky, rambunctious children. My son, Jackson, is almost seven, and my daughter, Peyton, just turned three. We also have a four month old Yorkie mix named Milo, and six chickens (yet to be named) who should start laying eggs very soon!

Outside of your business, what are your other passions?
Small business owners have passions outside of work? News to me! I kid, I kid! I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family when I have a day off. We love to go hiking and discovering new places to explore in the area. We especially love to try out different local eats! My wife and I are also very passionate about music and love to go to concerts and shows any chance we get.
