His first solo album, Lions, was featured in the August 2010 edition of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine, where editor Dan Miller stated, “If you want to hear some great old guitars played expertly, I highly recommend Lions.” Jon has been a member of many North Carolina and Colorado bands including, The Shannon Whitworth Band, Biscuit Burners, Big Fat Gap, Broke Mountain, Colorado Playboys, New Vintage, and is currently playing bass with Town Mountain.
