Halloween D'Vine, a Gallery Hop on State Street Gearing up for a Hauntingly Good Time

October 19, 2011
The air is crisp, the leaves along State Street have begun to change from green to gold and pumpkins are appearing in store fronts and front porches all over town. Fall has arrived, and with it the next installment of Art D’Vine, a gallery hop on State Street.

On the heels of three very well-attended summer gallery hops, Downtown Bristol’s five art galleries are preparing themselves for an autumnal art extravaganza on Friday, October 21 with what is sure to be an unforgettable gallery hop and wine tasting. As in the previous gallery hops, participants are invited to stroll through Downtown Bristol stopping at Kil’n Time, Benjamin Walls Gallery, 606 State Street Gallery, One of a Kind Gallery and blowfish emporium. Each of the galleries will be featuring a different wine varietal which participants are invited to sample. But there will be a few spirited differences from the summer offerings.

Gallery owners are encouraging participants to get into the “spirit” of the season and join them in donning their favorite Halloween costume! Gallery owners will be welcoming witches, warlocks and spooks of all nature into their shops from 7 pm to 9pm to peruse fantastic local art and enjoy a delightful wine tasting experience. In addition, all hobgoblins should be on the lookout for some spooktacular surprises on State Street.

As always, this event is free to the public. For more information, please contact Katherine Bowman at Believe in Bristol at 423-573-2200 or kbowman@believeinbristol.org or visit the website at www.believeinbristol.org.
