Bristol Public Library's Discovery Series Presents Ruth Graham, daughter of famous evangelist Billy Graham Thursday, November 18th, at 7:00 p.m.

November 17, 2010
*At Virginia Intermont College, Kegley Auditorium

Ruth Graham, founder and president of Ruth Graham and Friends Ministry, will be speaking to the Bristol community as part of the Bristol Public Library’s 2010 Discovery Series at Virginia Intermont College on Thursday, November 18th.

Mrs. Graham is an experienced conference speaker and Bible teacher known for her honesty and authenticity. Through her ministry, she writes and speaks to “those who feel marginalized within the church.”

She is the author of In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart and Legacy of Love, Legacy of Faith, and coauthor with Dr. Sara Dormon of I’m Pregnant … Now What? Her most recent book, Fear Not Tomorrow, God is Already There, was released in fall 2009.

Graham is no stranger to heartache herself. As she speaks with audiences, she shares her journey through her husband’s infidelities, her divorces, her teenage daughter’s two unplanned pregnancies, another daughter’s bulimia, and her son’s battle with drugs.

Ruth Graham will be at Virginia Intermont College on Thursday, November 18th. The presentation will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Kegley Auditorium.

This event is free and open to the public. No ticket is required. Reserved seating is available for a $20 donation to the Bristol Public Library Foundation. The doors of Kegley Auditorium will open at 6:00p.m.
