3rd Annual
Downtown Bristol
Halloween Parade

In addition to our long-standing annual traditions, we are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Downtown Bristol Halloween Parade! The parade will begin at 7:00pm. The parade route will begin at the municipal lot in front of Bristol TN City Hall (801 Anderson Street) and conclude at the intersection of State Street and Lee Street/5th Street. The route spans approximately 0.5 miles. We invite anyone interested in participating to register below!

The Downtown Bristol Halloween Parade features two distinct categories of participants, allowing for diverse and enjoyable experiences for all attendees. Parade entrants will self-categorize their entries as either "Fun & Festive" or "Scary & Macabre" to indicate the nature of their costumes and performances. Costumes falling under the "Fun & Festive" category are designed to be suitable for all ages, emphasizing creativity, humor, and the spirit of Halloween without overly scary or frightening elements. The "Scary & Macabre" category delves into the darker and more sinister side of Halloween, featuring haunting costumes inspired by horror, the supernatural, and the macabre.

We are currently recruiting for both categories of the parade. However, space is limited and we will be selecting candidates in the coming weeks to ensure a night of high-quality entertainment for our community.

"Dressed to Distress"
Window Dressing Contest

Visitors to Downtown Bristol TN/VA are also invited to vote for their favorite Halloween decorations in the windows and facades of various downtown businesses. For our Halloween window dressing contest this year, we are encouraging each business to put the woe in window! Be on the lookout for creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky windows of all kinds downtown from October 10 -- 30! Voting will take place by scanning the QR code sticker in participating businesses’ windows, with a winner announced via social media on October 31.
