The Paramount Chamber Players present For the Love of Country

TICKETS. Music has always played an important part in creating cultural identity. The Paramount Chamber Players presents three composers who were important to the development of a sense of national identity for their homelands. Each created or expanded a musical style that became identified with his native country. Represented are Italy, Spain, and Germany in the music of Giordani, Turina, and Schumann.

The Paramount Chamber Players welcomes the tenth Paramount Chamber Players Award winner, saxophonist Jenny Hesoun performing Cantelienne and Danse by Algerian composer, Marc Eychenne. Players appearing in the concert: Luis Casal, viola; Craig W. Combs, piano; George Figueroa, violin; Cherylonda Fitzgerald, cello; Rebecca Paluzzi, flute; and, Thomas Maternik-Piret, cello.
