New Cd From Tennessee Larue

Three Bands for the price of one at Theatre Bristol!

September 05, 2011

Saturday, September 10th brings three great acts together in one show on-stage at Theatre Bristol. Continuing in their summer concert series, Theatre Bristol is pleased to announce not one or two but three acts on stage on September 10th. “It’s a perfect warm-up to Rhythm & Roots” says Spence Flagg, Theatre Bristol board President. “We couldn’t be more pleased.” “Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m.”

Tickets are available on-line on Theatre Bristol’s website, http://www.theatrebristol.org.

Perennial favorite, Annie Robinette, will be gracing the stage along with The Nomadz and Tennessee Larue. Annie Robinette has graced Theatre Bristol’s stage before, being their first act ever for Rhythm & Roots 2008 – as well as appearing twice as Miss Hannigan in Theatre Bristol’s productions of Annie. Fully committed to her first love as a songwriter and performer, Robinette pairs up intelligent, relevant lyrics with sophisticated, yet uncomplicated melodies.

The Nomadz are an Appalachian blues based jam band. Swaying in and out of bluegrass, blues, country, and even some Cajun the Nomadz have been playing the area for years and are no stranger to the local music scene. They have 2 cd's out and an upcoming 3rd acoustic album on the brew.

Tennessee Larue started in the music business in the sixty's writing songs and music for and playing with some special country artists like the late great Buck Owens. Touring since 1999 as Tennessee Larue in 1999, they are pleased to be back in East Tennessee.
