Theatre Bristol 2011-2012 Season Unveiling

Wednesday, July 27, 2011 — 10:30 am — Theatre Bristol’s ARTspace. Theatre Bristol, the area’s premier community theatre, will be holding a press conference to unveil our exciting 2011-2012 season as well as the plans for the Theatre’s future financial growth. As part of this press conference, the Theatre would advise that those in attendance to expect the unexpected, and come prepared. With actors and musicians on hand, one never knows what levels of theatrical frivolity might occur.

All local media are invited and encouraged to come experience Theatre Bristol’s creative plans for an exciting new year.

Theatre Bristol is a community theatre focused on reaching audiences of all ages with some performances geared specifically for school age students and family friendly productions. Other performances are geared for adult audiences such as the ever popular The Rocky Horror Show. Past performances include Grease, Godspell, Willy Wonka and The Princess and the Pea to name a few. With past performances such as Annie and The Wizard of Oz, over 164,000 people have come downtown to see one of Theatre Bristol’s performances in the last ten years. In addition to stage performances, we have also hosted live concerts, acting classes, a play-writing contest, etc. Theatre Bristol has played a vital role in fostering the spirit of the arts in our community.
