The Bristol Public Library hosts program to observe Days of Remembrance THIS Sunday

The Bristol Public Library will host a program to observe the National Days of Remembrance THIS Sunday, Apr. 22, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. in the J. Henry Kegley Meeting Room. Days of Remembrance was established by the U.S. Congress as our nation’s annual commemoration of the Holocaust. The theme for the 2012 observance is Choosing to Act: Stories of Rescue.

This program will include video material from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and a testimonial from the daughter of Holocaust survivors. The material will include stories of those who risked or lost their lives in efforts to rescue Jews from genocide at the hands of the Nazis.
