June 11, 2012

Bill Harley, Grammy award-winning artist and storyteller, will be performing for the Bristol community as part of the Bristol Public Library’s 2012 Discovery Series on Tuesday, June 19th at 7 p.m. Bill Harley is a Grammy award-winning musician, storyteller, author, and playwright who has carved out a reputation as one of the finest family performers in the United States. He is wise and witty at the same time; his work portrays contemporary American life, with an off-center bent. Harley is one of the most popular storytellers at the Jonesborough Storytelling Festival.

“As a rule, I have a hard time figuring out where I fit,” Harley says of his multifaceted career, “but I got into this because I’m trying to make the world a better place.” One story and one song at a time.

So, join us for this entertaining performance on Tuesday, June 19th at 7 p.m. in the J. Henry Kegley Meeting Room at the Bristol Public Library. Reserved Seating is $20 and general admission is free, if available.
