Mary McCarty Book Signing at the Bristol Public Library

The Bristol Public Library will have a book signing by local author Mary McCarty on Saturday, June 7 at 2 PM in the J. Henry Kegley Meeting Room. Her book See You in the Morning will be available for purchase from the author. See You in the Morning tells the story of Mary’s extraordinary mother, Evelyn McCarty. Mother of twelve, Evelyn narrates the story of her life and how her Christian values, determination, and courage helped raise her family. Set in Southwest Virginia, See You in the Morning is a journey through a remarkable life and family stories.

Mary McCarty was born and raised in Coeburn, Virginia. She is the youngest of her mother’s twelve children. She now lives in Blountville, Tennessee. Earlier in her life she worked as a bookkeeper and a bank CSR. For the last twenty years she worked as an in-home caregiver. In 2012 she retired and began writing her non-fiction book. Inspired by her mother’s endurance, patience and love, Mary considers every day of her life a blessing and she considers all of her friends and family as blessings. She hopes to share her knowledge with young people so they might better enjoy their lives.
