Local artists and groups invited to apply to exhibit in the Virgie R. Fleenor Art Gallery in 2013

July 09, 2012

The Bristol Public Library invites local and regional artists and arts organizations to apply to exhibit their artwork in the Virgie R. Fleenor Art Gallery in 2013. Artwork is displayed by a different artist or group for two months for the community to view. We are encouraging local and regional established and award-winning artists and arts organizations to apply. These exhibitions provide an opportunity for artists to display their work for public viewing in a variety of media and styles and to further the Bristol Public Library’s mission of “Expanding Minds, Building Community.”

The November/December 2013 exhibit will be for new and developing artists. Applications should be submitted during this time period for consideration for this event. This exhibit features up to three works by an individual, and collectively will be an eclectic show by different artists. Media to be considered is watercolor, oils, acrylics, fiber, mixed medias, and photography.

The application can be picked up at the Reference Desk during the Bristol Public Library hours. Submissions of the application must be sent in between July 1, 2012 and August 24, 2012.

Bristol Public Library hours:
Monday-Thursday 9am — 8pm
Friday and Saturday 9am — 5pm
Sunday 2pm — 5pm
