L. C. King Mfg. Co. receives international recognition in the media

May 01, 2013

The L. C. King Manufacturing Company, makers of Pointer Brand
workwear in downtown Bristol, Tennessee, has been receiving some great press
lately. At the end of last year, the Pointer Brand apron was featured in
both Food Network Magazine and Bon Appetit, which resulted in a large spike
in sales. Then, in mid-Februrary, American Profile magazine featured the
company in their 10 million+ circulation weekly.

Today, we are proud to announce that our company was covered extensively in
the inaugural issue of a major new magazine, Modern Farmer, which can be
found in major bookstores and specialized stores such as Earth Fare.

This coverage was the result of visits in 2012 by a journalist and a
photographer from the magazine. Our company has worked closely with them to
provide facts about our operation through interviews and emails.

Following the article launch, L. C. King received a call from Newsweek Daily
Beast, which reported on the story.
