Downtown Christmas Open House

November 14, 2011

Come celebrate this season with merriment and good cheer! Santa Claus, Carolers and Carriage Rides will all be downtown for the entire family’s enjoyment. The Open House has traditionally been a customer appreciation night, merchants stay open late, have special discounts, and refreshments are served at participating locations.

Photos will be available in several locations this year. Twin City Photo Club will be at The Downtown Center taking pictures on the carriage rides from 6-8pm. Pictures may be picked up at 811 State Street (across from the Downtown Center) Bristol VA later that evening. AND Theatre Bristol will be taking photos with Frosty! So don’t miss out, get your photos early!

See humorist JEANNIE ROBERTSON at The Paramount Center for the Arts — Show starts at 7:30 pm. Please call 423-274-8920 for ticket information.

The Birthplace of Country Music Alliance and Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion will host a book signing by John Carter Cash at their “Bristol Store”. The grandchild of Maybelle Carter and only son to Johnny & June Carter Cash will be signing copies of his memoir, “House of Cash: The Legacies of My Father, Johnny Cash”, just outside BCMA/BRRR headquarters at 416 State Street between 5pm and 7pm. Please call 423-573-4898 for more information.
