City's Paper Windows Project Entering Third Session

May 23, 2012

The city is excepting pictures for its 3rd session of its Paper Windows project. The session is titled “Bristol Painted Green.” The picture is supposed to include the primary color green. The first two sessions have been completed but all the entries may be viewed on-line by going to the city’s website (www.bristoltn.org) and clicking on the Flickr icon at the bottom of the home page or by going to the city’s Facebook page and clicking on the Paper Windows icon at the top of the page.

“We have been amazed at the quality of photos being entered during each of the initial sessions. The photographers seem to be from every walk of life; moms, students, and people who have retired,” said Terrie Talbert, Director of Community Relations for the city. Talbert also noted that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners’ photos from the first session are being featured in the Twin City Photo Club’s windows on State Street. All following sessions winners will be posted there as well. The second session winners will be announced Tuesday, May, 29, 2012.

If anyone would like to participate in the Paper Windows Project the rules are posted on-line at www.bristoltn.org or individuals may pick up a brochure at numerous locations throughout the Tri-Cities area including the Bristol Chamber of Commerce, downtown businesses, senior citizens centers, and local colleges.
