Chamber to hold Bristol Virginia City Council Forum

April 09, 2012

On Monday, April 16, the Governmental Relations Division of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce will host a public forum to introduce the public to the Bristol Virginia City Council candidates. The forum will be held at the Bristol Public Library, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Candidates Forum is open to the public; however, the floor will not be open for questions or debate. Candidates will address questions prepared by the Bristol Chamber with input from the Bristol Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors and the Government Relations Committee. None of the candidates will have access to the questions prior to the forum.

Bristol Virginia City Council Candidates who have confirmed their attendance at the forum include: Jim Heaney, Guy Odum and Catherine Brillhart. Due to another commitment, Deborah Wagner will prepare a statement to be read by the moderator.

We ask that our board members and governmental relation committee members submit questions to Chelsea Gammon at cgammon@bristolchamber.org no later than Monday, April 9th by 5:00 pm.
