July 02, 2012

Bristol’s Paper Windows Project 3rd session winners have been announced by city officials. The title of session 3 was “Bristol Painted Green”. Photographs were to have the color green as the main ingredient. “There were so many great shots, I know it was difficult for the judges to narrow down their choices to just three,” said Terrie Talbert, Director of the Department of Community Relations. “We have been so fortunate to have so many talented photographers participate in this project. We have had over 115 photos sent in to date just for the first 3 sessions,” Talbert continued. To see all the photographs that have been entered in the project go to the city’s Facebook page or to the city Flickr account, which can be accessed by going to the city webpage at www.bristoltn.org. The 1st place winner for session three was a photograph titled, “Swimming in Green”. The photo was taken by Greg Booher. The 2nd place winner was a photograph titled, “The Catnip is Greener on the Other Side”. The photo was taken by Lee Jones. The 3rd place winner was a photograph titled, “Dragonheart”. The photo was taken by Sherry Holmes.
