Bristol Public Library Hosts Summer Reading Program for Children and Teens

The Children and Teen 2011 Summer Reading Program will start June 13th and lasts through July 28th. Registration for both begins, Wednesday, June 1st. The schedule is as follows for the Children’s Summer Reading Program:

Storytimes on Mondays at 6:00 p.m., Thursdays at 2:00 p.m., and Friday, June 17th at 10:00 a.m.
Regular storytimes on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. and Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Movies will be shown on the big screen on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m.
Films on the 16 mm projector will be shown on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.
And don’t forget, special events will be planned every week! So stop by the library to pick up your monthly calendar for exact dates and times

The Teen Summer Reading Program will begin with a Kick-off Party on Sunday, June 12th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. The programs will be held Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. The Tween Reading Group will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00-3:00p.m. Programs will include Barter Theatre, Movies, Craft & Culinary Classes, Midnight Harry Potter Party, Ghost Walk and Books, Books, Books!

Our Avoca branch will also have Summer Reading Program events on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. for 0-5 year olds and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. for 6-12 year olds.
