Bristol Public Library Closed

April 25, 2011

The data servers for Bristol Public Library as well as several other libraries in the region are migrating. During the transition, the card catalog and patron files will be unavailable. This means that no one will be able to use the public computers or card catalog, access their library accounts from home or check out any materials.
In view of this, Main and the Avoca Branch Library are going to join the other system libraries in being closed to the public on Sunday, May 8 and Monday, May 9. Staff will be available regular hours to answer questions by phone; no library materials will be due those days.

The Worker’s Compensation Hearings and Bristol Historical Society Meeting will be held as scheduled, but entrance will be through the upper Meeting Room doors only.

We will reopen to the public on Tuesday, May 10. We apologize for any inconvenience.
