LEAD Bristol Seeks Community Service Projects

LEAD Bristol! Is a program for companies and organizations dedicated to helping their employees become leaders. A nine-month adult training program which focuses on providing skills essential to leadership development, it is available to all area businesses.

While participants learn a variety of new skills that will aide in their careers and business relationships, they also have the opportunity to give back to the community. Service projects are solicited from agencies, governmental entities and other non-profit organizations each year and each LEAD! participant then is assigned to one of the projects. Class members then are charged with planning, executing and ensuring the project is successful. While these projects make a significant impact on the community, they also make quite an impression on the participants. By incorporating community servant leadership skills.

The LEAD Bristol! program, coordinated by the Bristol Chamber of Commerce, is seeking Non Profit, and Agency applicants who may need aide in organizing a project, coordinating an event, devising a marketing plan or marketing materials or other projects. The time frame of the group to be able to provide input is from October to April. There will be 5 – 7 people in each group to work the organizations.
