423 Srength and Conditioning opens — New Crossfit gym now in downtown Bristol!

March 27, 2013

Downtown Bristol welcomes a new business to downtown that’s aimed at redefining fitness and getting you in shape like never before.

423 Strength & Conditioning (423SNC) is opening on 26 7th Street (in a previously unused section of the L. C. King Manufacturing Co. building) April 1st, 2013.

Owners Galen Godbey and Justin Wade are Crossfit experts and are bringing the new approach to improving our health to Bristol.

The gym is not a private model open at any time, but a Monday-Saturday series of group classes — morning, afternoon, and evening (Saturday mornings offer a free class at 10am for introductions).

Members signing up in April get a $20 monthly discount for life. Programs are either unlimited classes or three days a week. Those who serve our community such as Police and Firefighters are also eligible for the discount. Private training is available.

Owner/trainers Justin and Galen found success in Morristown, Tennessee, where they established their successful Crossfit Gym model. Bristol was a natural next step for them, especially when the opportunity to be downtown appeared.

“We’ve always loved Bristol. It’s exciting to be here!” Galen spoke very highly of our town during a recent conversation.

“Our gym is about a proven system in a more open space than your standard gym. It’s also about establishing a supportive community. No egos here,” he said.
