Southern Gospel Music Revival at the Paramount

The Gospel Christian Music Association is presenting the Southern Gospel Music Revival on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 7p.m. in the Paramount Center for the Arts. Tickets are on sale now at the Paramount Box Office located at 518 State Street or call 423-274-8920.The concert will feature the Primitive Quartet, a group who has been traveling and singing gospel music for over forty years. Ivan Parker, will be performing his signature song “Midnight Cry”. Most will remember Parker from his stint with the Gold City quartet and more recently from his performance with the Gaither Gospel series. Others performing will be Dennis Benton and Jordan’s Bridge, who just signed a record deal with Pathway Records and recently released their new album “All Who Call”.
Darlene Cole, Deputy Director, Office of Community Relations said in regards to the unique show, “This is a great time of year to offer a show such as this. It seems Fall and changing of the leaves brings a time to reflect and this music is the perfect backdrop for that. We hope everyone will come out for an evening of great music.”
